2009-2010 (Geometry - angles)


? Did you know that you can use ANY manipulative you want during the entire assessment? 

? Which manipulative would be helpful to answer this question?



? If you didn't have a ready-made manipulative, what could you do?

    I think its A cuz um it is nore than 90 degrees which is the straight line accross the middle. This is an obtuse angle I think

    If an angle is more than 90 degrees, then its an obtuse angle and if it is less than 90 degres, its an acute angle. About 140 degrees is more than 90 degrees, so it'll be a obtuse angle. B is a right angle and C and D are acute angles. That leaves us with A, which is the answer!
    The manipulative to use for this question might be a protactor....
