we look at the side lenght which was 30 because it was a rectangle so we doubble it which is 60. And the width is 20 and again we dobble it to get 40 and we added up the total that was 60+40=100cm. we know that because 6+4=10.
We choose B because the question says that what is the area of the spill. The Spill is about half of the length or 15cm. So 15x20=300. That is why we picked D
We estimated the length and width of the spill . Since the paper is rectangular, the equation would be: LxW . We estimated the length was 12, and the width was about 23 , and we would say , about 300 cm2 . - Tiana . Asiya . (:
So we saw that the spill covered half of the page and the page was 30 cm long but the spill covered only half of the paper which is 15 cm. so we did 15 x 20= 300 so its B (ayesha + sumaya ur wrong and so r u moiaser& umar:p !!!)

ok i choosed b because it said cm2 which means surface area and the formula for surface area is A=(b times h)divide by 2=area =(30 times 20)divide by 2 bacuse it spiled on half of the page = 600 divide by 2 = 300 (b)is right
I got the area of the paper and it was 600cm and the spill was covering about half the page and half of 600 is 300. the answer is 300cm
ReplyDeleteits a because 20+30+20+30=100. Saif and Hassan :)
ReplyDeleteThat's the perimeter
Deletewe figured it out adding all the sides together

ReplyDeleteWe did length times width which is 30x20= 600cm
ReplyDeleteby Hanzalah and Hakeem.
We figured it out by timing 20x30=600!!
ReplyDelete30X20=600!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo D is correct

ReplyDeletewhoops its actually B not D we made a mistake Sumiya ayesha
ReplyDeleteits 600 cuz 30x20 is 600 mathmiha+ iqra
